It wasn't an easy task - the alterations were pretty complex: she modified the neckline so it was more of a true sweetheart, she shortened the dress without compromising its artistic, swirling and asymmetrical tulle layers and put in a subtle but effective and flattering bustle, and many other things. It really felt like we were a team in tackling this huge project (obviously she did all the work, but I really felt like my ideas and input mattered to her).
